Three years ago DOOM and Akomplice collaborated on a mystery project, three years later, they’re at it again. The latest joint effort between the enigmatic Villain and his Akomplice is cloaked in as much mystery as their 2011 release. Veiled in nondescript silver and black packaging, it’s impossible to infer what’s inside. Their previous project saw a similar cryptic release in the form of a nailed-shut wood crate which required a co-branded crowbar to open. If that project and the ensuing treasure hunt is any indication, the updated release will be sure to push the bounds of our expectations. Beyond the photos, the only information that has surfaced thus far is the pre-release purchase window – limited to 24-hours beginning April 12th at 12:00PM Eastern Time on the Akomplice Webstore. The price is $50 USD. No other information on this project has been provided.
