According to the Daily News An Upper East Side bartender who tossed an unruly customer out of his bar early Saturday morning was stabbed twice shortly after closing the watering hole.
Police said the 33-year-old victim, whose name was not released, suffered two minor puncture wounds from an unknown object at 5:40 a.m. outside his E.82nd St. apartment building.

A woman apparently committed suicide this morning after jumping from a luxury apartment building on the Upper East Side.
Suyeon Kim, 29, of Flushing, Queens, plunged from the 18th floor and landed on a second-floor ledge on East 79th Street and Second Avenue.
Kim jumped from apartment 18B of Continental Towers at 301 E. 79th Street.
The building’s doorman, Juan Gonzalez, 48, said a man “came down after it happened” and tried to help her.
“He was hysterical and crying,” he said. “He was wearing a suit like he was getting ready for work. I’m sick to my stomach.”
Yesterday afternoon like the scene from MADAGASCAR peacock escaped from the central park zoo and stood on a upper east side building ledge like king kong with crowds of people taking pictures in amazement and the news reporting on it in aww.
According to the Ny Times The peacock appeared to have taken up residence on the wrong side of Fifth Avenue on Tuesday morning.
One woman said she had seen it on a ledge of the building at 9:45 a.m., while she was on her way to work. A vendor at the Cart in the Park food stand at 64th Street and Fifth Avenue, Colin Searles, said the bird was on the fourth-floor ledge by 11 a.m. and relocated to the fifth floor around 3 p.m.

Everyone’s favorite Fight Club-loving, Starbucks-bombing teen, Kyle Shaw, is considering a plea deal. The Daily News reports that the 18-year-old was given an option of “3-1/2 years in prison.” A prosector told the judge, “The offer is being made after careful consideration of the factors, including his age.” Plus, that bomb he set off outside the Upper East Side java joint was crude and his trying to start his own Project Mayhem is so cute! The Post says, besides “That’s a latte prison time,” that Shaw must decide by September 7 or a trial will set. Last we heard from Shaw, he was getting into fights at Rikers.
