In honor of the late Adam Yauch a.k.a. MCA of the Beastie Boys, Shepard Fairey has created several tributes to the hip-hop pioneer in Los Angles.
Video of the special tribute performance for The Beastie Boys induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and Mike D and Ad-Rock that took place afterwards featuring The Roots, Travie McCoy and Kid Rock. The entire ceremony can be seen Monday, May 5th on HBO.
The Roots were still able to honor Houston by having new artist Elle Varner sing “Saving All My Love For You.” It was one of many signature moments during The Roots exhilarating three-hour concert.
