Short film by Julian Marshall called Obey The Giant which was Julian’s thesis film at Rhode Island School of Design in 2012. Based on a true life event the film follows a young Shepard Fairey’s first act of street art during his time at Rhode Island School of Design from 1989-1992.

Shepard Fairey’s Receives $25,000 Fine & Two Years Probation For “Hope” Obama Posters

Obey owner Shepard Fairey’s will not be heading to Jail for using a copyrighted Image for his “Hope” Obama Posters . Instead the street artist wiil get Two Years Probation and 25,000 dollars in fines.

Shepard Fairey Love Is the Drug Prints

Shepard Fairey and his company Obey present this prints called Love Is the Drug. The prints are available in two colors red and gold the red version of the print will be released limited to 400 copies, while the gold version will only be available in 200 copies. The prints measure 18” x 24” and will be available for purchase next week on August 14 at Obeys online store.

Shepard Fairey: Printing “Harmony & Discord” at Pace Prints

Shepard Fairey spent several weeks in New York in July 2011 and February 2012, creating and printing the works for his forthcoming exhibition at Pace Prints. In this video, he discusses the ideas behind the works and the printmaking processes that he used. All the works were created at the Pace Paper studio and Watanabe Press in Brooklyn.

Shepard Fairey(Obey) Pleads Guilty To Associated Press Case

Shepard Fairey, the Obey Clothing Founder and street artist has entered a guilty in plea in his criminal case with the Associated Press in New York. The chargers were criminal contempt for destroying documents, manufacturing evidence and other misconduct in his case involving his “Hope” poster of Barack Obama.
