Video of two men who tried to rob the Duane Reade at 100 Delancey Street in the Lower Eastside last week and even fired shots at the cashier.
According to Gothamist two men entered the store at around 11 p.m. last Friday, June 15. They walked to the counter, where one man demanded money from a cashier and the other showed a gun. However, the cashier, a 21-year-old woman, refused and the first man told his armed cohort to “shoot her.” The gunman then aimed at the woman and fired, but missed her. Then both men ran off. Lower East Side Robbers throw store owner through window
LOWER EAST SIDE According to ABC An apparent attempt to shoplift at a Manhattan boutique ended with a struggle and shattered glass.
The incident began around 6 p.m. Tuesday, when a group of people entered the Pilgrim Vintage Clothing Store on Orchard Street on the Lower East Side.
An owner confronted the suspects when he began to believe they were trying to shoplift.
That led to a struggle, where the owner and a suspect burst out the front window. The owner was taken to Bellevue Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are pending against two men and a woman police arrested in the area.
