Forbes is reporting that Nas is new part owner and Associate Publisher for Mass Appeal magazine after investing a “six-figure” into the publication. Nas first appeared on the cover of Mass Appeal magazine back in 2002.
“I always liked what they represented,” Nas said. “They invested into the culture. I saw their vision for what they planned and I thought I could add value across the board. Mass Appeal has a legacy and respect,” he says. “It already has a foundation. I just feel like I can add on because I can lend my kind of cultural expertise and my professional acumen, and develop the business.”
Nas took the Stage last night for Radio City Music Hall in New York last night for New Year’s Eve. The folks at Page 31 was in the building to capture the show as Nasir performed songs from his latest album “Life Is Good.”
He also took the audience back while rapping his way through some of his older classics.
Midway through the show Nas counts down to the new year with the audience before hundreds of balloons come falling from the ceiling.
