Kelis Addresses Nas’ ‘Life Is Good’ Album Cover
The artwork for Nas latest album cover features a replica of the only thing Kelis left when she divorced Nas. Life Is Good will be out on July 17.
NMETV recently caught up with Kelis to get her take on the cover.
“My feelings about it are not relevant, but at the end of the day, Nas is an artist,” she said. “And for whatever it’s worth, he’s one of the greatest, especially for what it is that he does. For me, I feel like, especially for someone in Hip Hop, to really kind of be genuine and honest, whatever the honesty is about – I think it’s awesome. My feelings about it aren’t necessarily valid, it’s just the fact that, as an artist, I can respect that he wears his feelings on his sleeve. I like that.”

Nas Announces 2012 Life Is Good’ U.S. & European Tour Dates
Nas anounces new tour dates for 2012 through upgraded new website, NasirJones.com.
The 17-date European and U.S. tour starts on June 9th in Detroit, Michigan. The tour is scheduled to play dates in Amsterdam, Germany, Croatia and Switzerland before returning to the States on August 19th for the Rock the Bells tour in San Bernardino, California. It will wrap up September 2nd in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Nas “Life Is Good” Release Date & Artwork For Single, “Daughters”
Nas announced via Twitter earlier today the official release date of his forthcoming LP, Life Is Good. The album is slated to drop on July 17th. Also included is the cover art for his new NO I.D.-produced single, “Daughters,” available on iTunes May 1st and the music video for his already released single “The Don” drops this Friday.
