G.O.O.D. Music studio sessions behind the scenes photos
Late last December Detroit rapper Big Sean explained during an MTV interview that he and the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music crew were close to finishing their first full-label collaborative album. Since we all know artists have a tendency to either say shit they don’t mean or fudge about progress updates, it would be nice to have some further proof that Team G.O.O.D. Music are actually in the studio together. Well, now we do.
The below images were taken by Los Angeles-based photographer Steven Taylor, who reportedly has very close ties to the label. In them we see Common, Big Sean, Teyana Taylor, CyHi Da Prynce, Omarion and producer Hit Boy all huddled around conference tables, laptops, and various studio equipment as they share artistic perspectives and fine-tune what will likely be one of 2012′s most talked about releases. No evidence of Kanye participation in these pics unfortunately, but that’s probably because he’s been busy in the studio with these clowns.
Former G.O.O.D. Music frontman Consequence held his word and today launched a war against Kanye West and his army. In what’s expected to be the first of many attacks, on his first try Cons puts the spotlight directly on the labels latest signee, lyrical monster Pusha-T. On the track titled “The Plagurist Society” Cons questions Pusha’s coke-dealing raps while reminding the VA hustler that he comes from the land of the elite weight movers, the notorious Supreme Team. Consequence saves the best for last towards the end of the record when the Queens native promises to take aim at West on the next go round.
