Video of two men who tried to rob the Duane Reade at 100 Delancey Street in the Lower Eastside last week and even fired shots at the cashier.
According to Gothamist two men entered the store at around 11 p.m. last Friday, June 15. They walked to the counter, where one man demanded money from a cashier and the other showed a gun. However, the cashier, a 21-year-old woman, refused and the first man told his armed cohort to “shoot her.” The gunman then aimed at the woman and fired, but missed her. Then both men ran off.
