LL Cool J To Receive BET ‘I Am Hip Hop Icon’ Award
BET will honor the multi-talented star at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, by giving him the I Am Hip-Hop Icon award.
Previous recipients of the award include Grandmaster Flash (2006); KRS-One (2007); Russell Simmons (2008); Ice Cube (2009) and Salt N Pepa (2010).
The 2011 Hip Hop Awards, hosted by Mike Epps, will air on Tuesday, October 11 at 8P/7 C.
