Ben & Jerry’s releases a Jeremy Lin inspired Ice Cream Called Lin-Sanity for you New York Knicks fans to purchase. It caused some controversy because it included crumbles of fortune cookie that were reportedly removed. The initial flavor was a mix of vanilla frozen yogurt, lychee honey swirls and the fortune cookie pieces—those have since been replaced by waffle cookies
Schweddy Balls Was a bit from Saturday Night Live with Alec Baldwin as Pete Schweddy, the owner of Season’s Eatings. He brings his specialty, the Schweddy Balls, to the NPR radio show Delicious Dish.
Now Ben & Jerry’s has adopted the name for their newest flavor of ice cream, made up of “vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum and is loaded with fudge covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls.” The Schweddy Balls ice cream will be available for a limited time in about 30% of stores that carry Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
