Every generation has a few artists who never receive the critical acclaim they deserve. Their work generally goes unnoticed by mainstream media but their following, albeit small, is cult like. The ILLZ is one of those artists. It may be premature to call The ILLZ underrated. His career is just beginning. After releasing The Pursuit and In Between Video Series , The ILLZ’s stock is rising. To say I’m a fan of The ILLZ is an understatement. It was a humbling experience to meet up with him in his home state of New Jersey. He discuses how he got his name, his fans, producing, the state of the music industry and more. Download the”:03 From Gold” EP on March 10th, 2011. To try and explain what we’ve gone through to try and interview this man would take a lot more time and a police report from Dekalb County Police… In a nutshell, we are proud to FINALLY present you with an interview with Stalley. We chopped it up with him about his work with Ski Beatz, his hometown, his musical back ground, and of course… kicks! One of my favorite interviews to date. Enjoy…

“We had a moment to speak with VADO and asked him how does it feel to be working with Cam’ron. Hear what VADO had to say… VADO tells all artist if they’re not ready to put 120% when in the studio then not come at all. The man goes hard when he’s making music! VADO tells all artist if they’re not ready to put 120% when in the studio then not come at all. The man goes hard when he’s making music!”

Back in 1990, Blackmoon used to be four MC’s :
KB 1 (5FT), KB 2 (Buckshot Shorty), Finsta and… Evil D.
This week “thisismyNYMinute” features Duckdown’s CEO,
Blackmoon’s Buckshot, who pulled a tape from his vault to show us the 1st (and last) radio freestyle from a 16 y.o MC Evil D, years away from becoming half of the legendary Beatminerz. You are now about to witness why the Boot Camp producer never touched the mic ever again.
