Darcel Goes Fashion as Karl Lagerfeld, Pharrell Williams & Others

Australian artist Craig Redman has produced 150 illustrations of his character Darcel styled as fashion figure for Parisian boutique colette. The illustrations takes on some big names in fashion such as Pharrell Williams, Alber Elbaz, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Miuccia Prada, and Karl Lagerfeld all with Darcel stylings.

Fashion Socialite Zelda Kaplan Dies In Front Row Runway at Fashion Week Show

Fashion socialite Zelda Kaplan died yesterday at a Fashion Week show collapsing in front row of as Joanna Mastroianni models were displaying his wears the former ballroom dance instructor was a New York City night life and fashion icon.

According to to the Daily News

The Fashion Week crowd was stunned Wednesday when 95-year-old nightlife legend Zelda Kaplan died during a runway show.

Kaplan was seated near gossip queen Cindy Adams and supermodel Carol Alt in the front row of designer Joanna Mastroianni’s show when she appeared to faint, falling forward in her seat and “it looked like her eyelids started to flutter,” one witness said.

Security rushed to her side, picked her up, carried her over the runway and out of the sweltering tent as models continued to sashay down the catwalk.
