In conjuction with the Olympics in London’s Gagosian Gallery will host a collaborative Olympics painting done by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat in the 80s. The painting were done between 1983 and 1985 and were inspired by the 1984 Olympic’s in the design of the Olympic Rings piece, Warhol put his stamp on the five-rings while Basquiat’s graffiti type stylings pays homage to black athletes that had excelled in past Olympics.
