Hip hop recording artist @torae Torae has released the video for For The Record, the title track from his recently released solo project. Directed by Anthony Sylvester, the performance based video captures Torae performing in slow and fast moving shots as an ode to NYC’s fast-paced way of life. As the video transitions from daytime shots of Manhattan landmarks, to night time views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the video ends with Torae performing in his home borough backed by a who’s who of hip hop artists. For The Record features appearances from the song’s producer DJ Premier, Rah Digga, Tek of Smif N’ Wessun, Marco Polo, Homeboy Sandman, Nitty Scott MC and others.
