Clark Kent may be the first name that comes to mind when referencing the strongest superheros, but when he’s pitted up against Batman, Green Lantern, the uncanny X-Men, Spider-Man, Thor and Captain America, he doesn’t stand a chance in Tinseltown. Due to alleged creative conflicts in the script, director Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel has been pushed back from its holiday ’12 slot to the summer of 2013.
Building a buzz seems to be the Superman’s franchise kryptonite since the days of Christopher Reeve. The last film, 2006′s Superman Returns grossed nearly $400 million, but demands for a follow-up have been next to nil, alluding to the fact that possibly the brand name moved the masses to check for it above any other factors.
Regardless of the delay, production and filming for Man Of Steel is set to start in the very near future. You can’t count Kal-El out forever.
